By the gods, that was close…… I didn’t know my disguise would work….. Looks like father has to get some real guards.

I love my father and I respect him but he’s so strict and clingy… The world is changing and one’s life in this world is unpredictable… I didn’t want to sit down and do nothing, this is my life and I want to make the best use of it while I’m alive.

Seeing that, I was going to be escorted by the Royal guards, I decided to disguise myself as a servant by wearing one of the servants ragged clothes… I made sure I and covered my body so I wouldn’t be recognized but I didn’t know it was going to work, I thought the guards would knew everyone that went in and out of the palace but as I walked out of the palace, they didn’t seem to care… To them, I was just a servant and a nobody.

I know my father wanted to ensure I was safe but there are some things I want to experience alone… I want to do things on my own terms…

So immediately I went out of the palace, I went straight into the crowd…. This is the first time, I’ve seen or been inside a crowd like this… It’s so fascinating and wonderful…. Different faces and colors of people… I was amazed by what I saw… I kept walking until I reached a more crowded and condensed area… I could tell this is the market… Luckily for me.. I had bought some bags of gold coin in order to buy some things along the way….

I stopped by each shop to something for myself… It was fun doing all this things by myself… No slaves or servants at my side, just me.

I bought some veils and gown and tried them on.. The looked perfect on me of course, so I got rid of the rags and wore the ones I bought… After that, I continued on my tour.

After so many sight seeings, I decided to take a rest, I saw one place, which had a sign on it ” Harem’s palace “, and as it turns out some men and women were going in and out of the place… So I got in to see what it was.

Immediately I entered the place, I saw something awkward and strange…. It was then I realized what happened, That drink the man gave me was sabotaged… And I foolishly drank everything down to the last drop… Before I knew what was happening, I slumped to the ground and passed out.

It was like a wooden cell, covered with some kind of leafy blanket… And from the sounds I heard, it looks like the cage on a horse carriage…

And inside the cage, I wasn’t alone… There were lots of women and girls like me.. And I realized their clothes was ragged and they had chains on the necks as if they were black slaves from Africa. I looked at myself and saw I too was in the same appearance as they are…. I saw scared… really scared.. Not long ago I was a princess and now I’m a slave.?

I asked the women if they knew where we were going but they were mute.. They were looking at me as if I was dumb.. At many attempts to try to converse with them.. I too kept my mouth shut.

A little bit later, the carriage stopped and the leafy veil was removed from the cage… Everything was clear again and we were now breathing fresh air… As I looked around, I saw we were in some kind of place like a slave market but the majority of the captives were women, only a handful of men were among.. And what surprised me was, there was some men who looked rich and wealthy, they were busy going round and taking a look at the women, Some touched their bodies, to examine them.

Soon, the cage we were in was opened and we were dragged out of it.. All of us formed a straight line and we were ordered to climb some kind of stage.. As we climbed up, our chains were removed and we were ordered to face the crowd…

Then after that, One fat man came upon the stage and began to shout out loud attracting the attention of the crowd.. Before long, there was a huge gathering of men who were shouting and whistling as they saw us… And then while we stood watching the men… The ugly man that abducted me, came upon the stage as well… How I hate this man!

I was too stunned to move.. My body was trembling with fright.. As the beast was busy feasting on the man, I quietly snuck out of the place and ran away.. Just when I thought I had escaped.. The ugly brute that abducted me grabbed and pulled me into a tent.. He slapped me hard making me fall on the ground.
