Continue from the last scene

We finish packing around 5pm, the food stuff I bought, we didn’t even touch half of it, there was nothing we could use it for so I asked papa if I could give it to desmond mum to give to the needy in church since she knows the area more than us. Sweet man why would he refuse he said yes that it was more bless full to give than to receive. We made dinner of spaghetti and goat meat, he made it actually I just assisted. After we had our meal he went inside to take a shower, I did the sam too.

Around 7:30pm we sat in the living room gistin

SAM: I’m just imagining the way people’s mouth will go open when they hear we are getting married.

He smiled.

PAPA: The congregation might be surprise but my minister won’t because they have been on my neck to get another wife since Martha died.

SAM: Baby, are we having a large wedding celebration?

PAPA: It’s your day, whatever you say. I smiled this man sure knows how to make a woman happy. But seriously I don’t like noise, I like my life to be as quiet as ever.

SAM: I want a small wedding, maybe about 40 to 50 guest. He stare at me like he was surprise.

PAPA: Why, some woman will want the queen of England. (I chuckle what’s the need of wasting money when all I want is to get marry to the man I love?

SAM: I just want a wedding, not popularity
He smiled at me then gave me a quick kiss on the lips.

PAPA: You are just special and different from the rest. I love you.

Hell yes I love him too. We talked about other things, where I would love to shop for my wedding things I told I love my country so whatever I need I would get it here. I felt so tired and sleepy I checked the time and it was just 8:40pm wow time is going slow for us I guess. I picked up my phone and called Mrs joyce and told her to please come and pack the food stuff we bought, if she needed anything she should take or give it to the church. She appreciated me and prayed for me before I hang up. After my call with Mrs joyce, desmond mother I went to the kitchen to have some water I came back to the living room, papa was busy with his phone I didn’t know what he was doing but he was so serious.

SAM: You look serious, that must be very important

PAPA: Yes dear, come take a look.

I wanted to sit on the couch near him but he pull me to sit on his leg(i can’t refuse na) so I sat down he showed me his phone and it was a pix of myself when I was sleeping.
