The next morning being Saturday, that was the day we were to return back to our base. We didn’t wake up early because we didn’t sleep early the previous night. We were busy expressing our feelings to each other, and we ended it with a hot, and passionate kiss. I didn’t want to kiss him at first, not because I was forming or anything but because my heart was filled with joy and gladness that he was mine and mine alone.

PAPA: Kiss me na. Please (giving me that baby face)

SAM: I just wanna look at you like this for a while. Your love is making me to even forget how to spell my name (he laughed hard)

PAPA: That’s funny but thanks baby, your love is making me to forget i was once married. I laughed his very funny but truly that’s how I feel I sometimes forget how to spell my name all I could think of is love love love.

He brought his mouth closer to mine, his breath smelled so nice and fresh I couldn’t resist it. So I closed my eyes so I could even enjoy it more. We kissed like we have never kissed before, like our life’s depend on it.

BACK TO PRESENT DAY SATURDAY
We slept like we were not traveling that day again, it was a knock from the door that woke him up, I was busy still sleeping but not too deep so I could hear what they were discussing.

It was desmond mom I guess she has come for the stuffs I asked her to come and take.
I heard papa ask her to come inside. “How are you Mrs johnson” he greeted her by her husband’s name. (my baby can do like Americans eeh). “Wait here while I get her for you” he said without even waiting for her to reply his greeting.

He came inside to wake me up, but I felt shy to come out, what will she think if she sees me coming out from papa’s room still looking sleepy. Trust nigeria woman na she will think we have been s——g each other for long.

SAM: Baby why did she come this early na? I can’t go out side knowing she’s there, she might start saying or thinking something else. (he smiled)

PAPA: It’s already some minutes after 12 baby, and beside you are my fiancée so she can think whatever she likes. I still didn’t find it funny so I la!d still. He just moved on the bed and carried me bridal style.
