The next day arrives and everyone gets to his/her normal day to day activity… The streets of Abuja is filled with traffic jams, air pollution, and noises from complaining people… The day is exhausting and the worst part, the sun is out in it’s full form blaring heat in the atmosphere… People who are being affected by this heat, complain about it and wished they could get some nice cool atmosphere to make their day a little bit more better.

Among those complaining of the heat, are Linda and Regina who are on their way to the hospital to bring Andy home.

Linda Tell me about it.. The heat is driving me nuts…

Regina I swear… Well rich folks don’t have to deal with this kind of trouble.. At least they have air conditioner

Linda Stop bringing that air conditioner something.. Let’s hurry so we can get Andy, so we can go home.. I’d like to bath with cool water when we return.

Both women soon arrive at the hospital, After going through all the payment, They were allowed to take Andy.

Both Linda and her brother leave the ward and soon go out of the hospital, as they reach outside, Andy gasps in wonder and amazement as he stares at the public for the first in 8 months… Linda rejoices as she sees the joyful expression on her brother’s face.. After all that hustle and hard work to get money had finally paid off.. Her brother was finally okay.

As they were waiting for Regina.. Andy sees an old woman trying to cross the road, seeing how slow she was, he decided to go and help her.

Andy That old lady needs help.. Let me go help here.. She can’t cross the traffic with the way she’s walking.

Linda No.. Stay here.. I’ll go help her..

As Linda crosses the road… A car roars and charges down the road with frightening speed, People move out of the way seeing the car move at such speed, The car still moving at that pace, heads towards Linda who’s unaware about it… Her Brother Andy seeing the danger his sister was in, rushes towards her.

Andy LINDA! LOOK OUT!!!!

As Linda turns around, She sees the car charge at her, Fear made her stand still unable to move, In that moment, Just as the car was about to jam her to death, She was pushed out of the way by her brother, though he saved his sister’s life, his however was too late to be saved!

SCRRREEECCCH….. JAAAAAMMM!

That was the sound of car knocking down Andy, the impact sends Andy flying in mid air as he comes down crashing to the ground, rolling on and on and on…

After the smoke had cleared, People gather around to see what had happened.. Meanwhile, Linda who was still recovering for her fall, rushes to the sight where people gather, she pushes her way into the crowd as she gets to the front… Upon reaching there, She gasps as she sees her brother bruised all over, his legs were broken and his head was cracked a little,… Linda trembles all over as she sees her brother in this state.. She slowly goes to his side and touches him, she places his corpse on her thighs trying to wake his up.. In that moment, Regina shows up at the scene.

Linda (panicking) Andy? Andy? Andy? Wake up…

.

Regina Blood of Jesus!!! Jesus o!

.

Linda (crying and shouting) Andy? Please wake up… Andy… Please.. Don’t go.. Please..

.

Regina Linda..

.

Linda Regina… Please help. Me…… He’s my only family.. Please don’t let him.. Die.. Please…

.

Regina Linda… I’m sorry… He’s… dead.

Linda NOOOOO!!!! NOOOO!!! NOOOOO!!! ANDY… PLEASE… PLEASE!… ANNNNDDDDYYYYY!!!

After that outburst, Linda falls down and faints… Regina quickly rushes to her and calls people to help her.. A group of people help Regina take Linda and Andy into the hospital… Far away from the Crowd, The driver of the car watches the scene as he makes a phone call.

Driver Hello!?

Funke Is it done?

.

Driver She’s still alive but her brother is dead.. He pushed her out of the way..

Funke Well, that’s his problem..come back to my place… This one is enough for now!
