LINDA

Never in my life, did I think that one day, God would elevate me like this, From the daughter of a nobody to the Fiancee of a billionaire… It was just too good to be true.. When I close my eyes I would pinch myself to see if I was dreaming.. But I wasn’t cause this was all real, I could even remember that yesterday I was just a local girl struggling to look for money but now I’m bathing in money… My only regret was that Andy wasn’t here to enjoy this new life I’m in right now.. It would have been much better if he was here.

But that being said, there’s nothing I can do about it, save pray to God to forgive my brother for his sins and hope that he’s in a better place.

A few days after Tony and I got back together, Cecilia made sure the news out, The news of our reunion circulated like wild fire, The reason behind Cecilia’s actions was to make people like Funke jealous..

Tony’s mother Susan, changed her opinions about me, when she saw the video of me and Tony, she was so pleased she saw the decision I made, She apologized to me for all the things she thought or said about me and gave her blessing for Tony and I to get married.

As for Tony.. Once his mother gave her blessing, He went all out and gave me what ever I desire, He even gave me the keys to the Ferrari he had brought for me, It took a week before I could learn how to drive the car, Chris dedicated his time and taught me how to drive.

Tony sure didn’t stop there, He went on ahead and bought me a whole new set of wardrobes, clothes, jewelry, the best ones money can buy.. He even opened a new account for me where filled it with loads of cash, to do as I wanted to do with them.

To be honest, the money was too much, I didn’t know what to do with them, Even Regina who usually collects money from me was even getting tired of spending the money… One afternoon, I sat at her place, when we were discussing about the truck load of cash in my bank account.

Regina ➡ Babe… See as your life change! I can barely recognize you now! Did you do plastic surgery?

Linda ➡ What? God forbid… Only a senseless and stupid lady would do something like that, Tony likes the way I am. So why should I change the way I look?

Regina ➡ Hmm, while.. Being rich has its moments but it can’t be boring o.

.

Linda ➡ Tell me about it… I don’t know what to do with the money that’s in my account… Tony has given me everything that’s I’ve ever wanted… I don’t know what else I want again o.

.

Regina ➡ Use it to buy a plane now.

.

Linda ➡ For what? What do I need a plane for?

.

Regina ➡ So any ideas of how you’re going to spend your money?

.

Linda ➡ I don’t know maybe I should just donate it to…..

.

In that moment, an idea got into my head.. I knew just what exactly I’m going to do with the money, Since I can’t possibly spend every, another best option is to share.

Regina ➡ Linda… What’s wrong? And what’s that look on your face?

.

Linda ➡ I’ve just figured out what to do with the money! How would you like to start your own business?

.

Regina ➡ But I’m already working!

.

Linda ➡ Mumu… You can’t be working under someone forever… Since I have lots of cash, I can give you some to start a business, something that will be bringing you cash when you’re no longer working.

Regina ➡ Its sounds nice.. What are you going to do with the rest?

.

Linda ➡ Just wait and see.

.

One of the reasons why our country is undeveloped is because people are selfish and self centered , especially the people of Higher economic status, most of them are too greedy and they don’t like to share, instead they want more and more than they can handle. If only they’d share a percentage of their wealth and resources, the country wouldn’t be like this and poverty will be drastically reduced.

So after giving Regina a percentage of my money to start her business.. I used the remaining to help people, I donated a percentage at the orphanage home, the money was used to renovate their buildings and provide some items that the kids needed, after that I went to local residences and gave out some of the people who were in desperate need.. And lastly I used the remaining amount to open an entrepreneurship center for young women who had no jobs to learn a trade that would help their lives and once they had acquired the skill, they would receive an amount of money so as to start their own business … I could remember the hardship I went through before, It was the main reason that made me open the Entrepreneurship center so that no lady would go through the kind of suffering I went through.

The news of my charity and work soon the attention of the News station and I soon became popular… And because of that I soon got assistance and support from some of the most influential people in Abuja, but their attentions weren’t the same as mine, all they wanted was to get media exposure and share the spotlight with me.

Tony was proud of what I was doing, and he too supported my cause, by giving me monetary assistance to fund my charity work … Before long my popularity grew and I began to get invitations from TV stations and TV talk shows for an interview, I didn’t want to attend cause people might think I’m doing all this just to get fame but then Tony persuaded me to attend at least one or two interviews so that they might not think I’m snobby.

The first one that got an interview with me was Hermione. Hermione was so demanding that I couldn’t say no, when I accepted her invitation, she was so pleased.

On the day on the interview, Tony escorted me to the place, so I wouldn’t feel all alone and nervous.

As Tony and I made our way to the building, A lot of paparazzi were there taking shots of us, They focused their attention on me because of the snazzy and attractive dress I wore, courtesy of Cecilia.

As we entered the building, We met with Hermione who was busy applying make up on her face, the moment she saw us, She rushed towards us with smile on her face.

Hermione ➡ Evening love birds.. Linda you look stunning.

Linda ➡ Thank you.. You loom amazing as well.

.

Hermione ➡ So are you ready for the interview!? It’s going to be a hot seat tonight.

.

Linda ➡ Uhm.. I..

.

Tony ➡ Hey.. Take it easy on her, this is her first time and don’t ask her any questions about her… You know?

.

Hermione ➡ Don’t worry.. I won’t.. Okay then.. Let’s get ready.. The show starts in 5 mins.

After that Hermione left, Tony began to say some reassuring words to calm me down.

Tony ➡ Relax babe.. Don’t let her frighten you.. Everything is going to be alright..

.

Linda ➡ Thanks love… So how do I look? You haven’t complimented me since we left the house.

.

Tony ➡ What I can say? I was so speechless staring at you, you look so beautiful and stunning..

.

Linda ➡ Awwn thank you… After this, you and I can go have some fun..

Tony ➡ Yeah…. I can’t wait.. Tonight you and I are going to you know,

Tony pulled me closer to him and then tapped my ass pressing it fondly.. I felt a little tingle all over my body as he did that.

.

Linda ➡ Okay slow down.. Don’t get over board.. I’ll give you what you want tonight.. Okay.. It’s time to go.. Be a gentleman and stay put, don’t misbehave.

Tony ➡ You know I won’t.. How about a little kiss?

.

Linda ➡ Alright.. Come here.

.

Tony and I shared a romantic kiss before I went my way, I had to wait for Hermione to introduce me first before I walked in.

Hermione ➡ And now for our tonight’s guest, please lets give a hand to this stunning young woman, Linda okene.

As I heard my name, I had to breathe out a little bit before I went out, Everyone clapped and cheered for me as I made my way to Hermione’s place, after exchanging handshakes with her, we both sat down and the interview began.

Hermione ➡ It’s good to have you on our show Linda.

.

Linda ➡ Thank you, the pleasure is all mine.. I’m also feel honoured to here with you as well.

.

Hermione ➡Pleasure is all mine Linda.. So how does it feel to be the most envious and popular lady in Abuja?

.

Linda ➡Well, its all a little bit overwhelming.. Everything is jusg happening so fast.

.

Hermione ➡ That’s how it is my dear, so Linda…. Tell us, how does it feel to be the future wife of the Billionaire Tony Richards!? What can you tell us about your relationship with him?

Linda ➡ Well, being in the position I am right now, I’ll say the feeling is great, to be chosen by a man like him, its like a dream come true for any lady and our relationship is perfectly normal and fun..

.

Hermione ➡ Hmm, well you know you’re not the first lady that got engaged to Tony.. Funke Adejumo as you know was Tony’s chosen one because things went sour between them, what do you think happened?

Linda ➡Well, you know some things aren’t meant to be.. Maybe things didn’t work out between them, that’s how life is.

.

Hermione ➡ Hmm, you may be right but you know, there’s a rumor going around that you know, that she cheated on him? What do you think?

.

Linda ➡ Like you said.. Its a rumor..

.

Hermione ➡ (laughs) Oh Linda.. You’re such a riot.. Okay tell us, what the reason behind all theses good deeds you’re doing? What gave you the drive to do something like that even though you’re not getting any penny from it?

Linda ➡ well Hermione, You know this society is.. Life is hard and I’ve seen and been through a lot.. I have no parents, no family and I had a brother once but he’s dead.. I have no one except God.. I had to struggle and survive, its not easy but then all of a sudden God changed my life through my contact with Tony.. Things have been better for me ever since, now that I’m living the good life.. I want to help out all the people out there especially the ladies like me out there who don’t have anyone to depend on..

Hermione ➡ Such a noble thing you did, i’m sure your efforts won’t go unrewarded. So what would you say to the ladies out there watching you right now?

Linda ➡ Well, all I can tell them is that, they should pray her and work hard, that’s the best advice I can give them.

Hermione ➡ Thank you so much Linda.. It’s sure good to have spent some time with you but I’m afraid, time isn’t on our side.. So have a good night.. Okay everyone let’s hear it for Linda okene.

After that, I received another round of applause, as I left the stage.. I didn’t know the interview was short like this, but anyways it’s been fun.. As I went around looking for Tony, I came face to face with someone I’d never hope to see, and that person was Funke.

She was together with some gentlemen, as she was me, she and the men approached me.

Funke ➡ Well, well, well, if it isn’t Tony’s fiancee…..

Linda ➡ Evening Funke..

Funke ➡ Hmm, so your level has upgraded huh? What happened to the Mrs., you used to call me?

Linda ➡ What do you want?

.

Funke ➡ Well, I’m here to pay my respects, I must say I’m happy for you.. You have everything a woman has ever wanted, fame, money, beauty and love.. Anyways, i’m here to congratulate you.. on your progress..

Linda ➡ Thank you..

Funke ➡ If you’ll excuse me, I’d like to see someone.. I’ll be back so we can snap some pics.. Where don’t you and my friends get acquainted?

Funke quickly went away and left me with the men, I didn’t know what to do, and Tony is nowhere to be found.. So instead of standing with awkwardly without saying anything, I decided to converse with the men..
