Queen: “End of time? How? I don’t understand you at all”

Mr Franklyn: “I know that you want understand me. Wait a second, your phone will ring now, Tonia just called David and told him that your number is available now. Just wait and see”

….Immediately he finished saying those words, my phone rang, it didn’t display any name but i knew quite well that it was a foreign number!!!

Mr Franklyn: “Pick up…he has good news for you”

….I looked at him for a few seconds, then i answered the call….

Queen: “Hello”

Bro David: “Hi Queen…how are you?”

Queen: “David…is that you?”

Bro David: “Yea, its me…longest time, how are you doing?”

Queen: “May the lord be praised…am fine. I didn’t hear from you, what happened?”

Bro David: “Nothing happened. Just that i had to settle down, you know how it is when you are in a foreign country”

Queen: “Yea, you are right..so how is America?”

Bro David: “My dear, America is fine. The weather is too cold i must admit but i am getting used to it already. So tell me, how is school? I know that you are in your final year”

Queen: “Yea… Our project is coming up soon so i was making arrangement to gather some money for the project but all the time, i give God the glory”

Bro David: “Good to hear…am happy for you. Erm Queen, i have something important to tell you, are you less busy now?

Queen: “Yea…its almost 1am in the morning. So am less busy.”

Bro David: “Okay…i will split it out. First of all, are you dating someone or engaged to anyone?”

Queen: “No…am not. Why do you ask?”

Bro David: “There is a good friend of mine who helped me to settle down in America, he is from Imo State but he is base here in the State. He wants to settle down and raise a family in the state. He said that he wants to marry a girl from Nigeria. His name is Chidi Nnachi, I told him a lot about you and he is dying to meet you. I also told him that you are a Virgin as well”

….Virgin! Virgin!! Virgin!!! It keep ringing in my head, he is yet to know that i am no longer a Virgin and that my pride had been taken away from me. Oh God why me- I fixed my gaze at the Angel of God, he was only smiling and encourage me to go on with the call…

Queen: “Bro David…I am no longer a Virgin, i was raped. T-Baby succeeded in carrying out her threat. I was raped about 3 days ago”

Mr Franklyn: “He will call you again. He only ended the call because he want to remember what his friend Chidi told him about not marrying a Virgin”

Queen: “Not marrying a Virgin…how?

Mr Franklyn: “I know that you wont understand me. Let me quickly tell you about it then”

Queen: “Okay…am listening sir”

Mr Franklyn: “You see my dear, the Lord works in mysterious ways. The Lord always want the best for those who serves him in truth and spirit. My dear, Chidi told Bro David that he doesn’t want to marry a Virgin, David asked him why and he said to David that it was just a choice. Though it was just a heart to heart discussion between David and Chidi, so when you told David that you were raped, his reaction was How come! You wouldn’t know but i know, if you were still a Virgin, Chidi wont be interested at all, but now David will have to tell him of your ordeal and Chidi will have pity on you and by all means try to get married to you as soon as possible. So you don’t have to worry about anything my dear”

Queen: “But why Chidi? Is there no one else?”

Mr Franklyn: “Because Chidi has a calling to work for God and only you can lead and guide him to God because you have the fear of God in you..you are destined to be Chidi”s helper”

Queen: (Heave a sigh)…”To be frank sir, i am short of words”

Mr Franklyn: “I understand you my child. Just continue to be a good girl and serve the Lord with all your heart. May the will of the Lord come to pass in your life”

Queen: “Amen, Amen and Amen”

….Just then, my phone rang, it will Bro David calling me. I answered the call!

Queen: “Hello Bro David…you call at exactly 10 minutes”

Bro David: “Yea..listen Queen, about what you told me earlier, i think something mysterious is going on. You see, Chidi told me that he has no intention of Marrying a Virgin and now that you are no longer a Virgin, i am thinking that this is not ordinary”

Queen: “Yea, i know”…

Bro David: “You know, how?”

Queen: “Someone just told me not quite long! Hold on, he is no longer here, he’s gone”

Bro David: “Who is gone?”

Queen: “An angel of God..he has disappeared already”

Bro David: “Are you sure about what you are telling me?”

Queen: “Yes…i am very sure that he was an Angel sent by God”

Bro David: “Sent by God…but how?”

Queen: “I will tell you everything now”

Queen: “Stop it Bro David” ..(I said, smiling)…”Please stop teasing me”

Bro David: “Alright sister Queen. I have heard you. Bye”

Queen: “Bye..take care”
