Phresh left the lecture room and waited under the school tree for Tina,David saw her from afar and come to her side

“Hello phresh..

She went mute and look away

“Phresh am sorry,I shouldn’t have barge into ur room and start touching you anyhow,am really sorry,I promise you that such won’t happen again” he said and kneel down

Phresh is moved to pity and decided to forgive him

“Alright you are forgiven,how is today lectures?” She asked

“Boring as usual,what about u?

“Mine was good and I am going am waiting

For your girlfriend”

“You mean Tina!

“Yeah

“Hmm,she is not really my girlfriend”

“Excuse me” phresh cut in

“Yeah,there are alot of things you don’t know about Tina”

“Well,we do chat and joked about certain things but I don’t think anything is private to me because I know everything about her family”phresh said

“You really don’t know anything!

“When I first gained admission into this school,there were alot of girls fighting to be my lovers but

I had to choose few,I met Tina few months after gaining admission into this school,she was the one that confessed that she liked me,I keep telling her not to force things that love grow naturally but she refused to listen! I had no choice than to accept her,since then we started dating,there are some things you don’t know about her”

“What is it?” Phresh asked eargerly waiting for him to talk more when Tina came around

“Hi girlfriend,David you are here!

“Yeah,we are both waiting for you” phresh said

“But you said you don’t want to see David around,then why is he here? Why don’t you want to see him in the first place?did he did something wrong? Am I missing something?” Tina asked

“Have forgiven him, nothing happened” phresh cut in

Tina couldn’t understand the motive behind phresh behavior in the morning,hope it’s not what she think it is, anyways if she refused to tell her,that’s her problem after all her next aim is Max,such wealthy guy…. dating this young lady,she is even older than her and more s…xier than her,what does the man see in her

“What are you brooding about?” David asked while Tina left her thought

“Nothing,let’s go home now,since am here!!

“I won’t be able to accompany you guys,I need to get to my house” David said

“Alright will see you next time” Tina replied while he left.

They both board a cab home …….

Getting home,phresh received a call from max

“What! She exclaimed and dropped her phone on the white tiles

“What happened ?Tina asked

Phresh started crying profusely,Tina didn’t know what to do as she keep asking her series of questions

“Talk to me! What happened nawww

“It’s max ooo,it’s max”

“What about him? What happened to him?”

“He had an accident on his way back to my house and was rushed into the hospital,am going right away” phresh said

“No no no let’s go together” Tina insisted while they both dashed to the hospital

Getting to the hospital,phresh met his parents sitting beside max bed along with his younger brother,they both resemble each other

Max leg was bandaged seriously and she couldn’t fathom the reason for all this

They both greet everyone

“Welcome my daughter, thanks for coming,max has said alot about you and am glad that I see you today” his mum said wearing a sad face

“My pleasure ma,please how is he now?” Phresh asked

“He is responded to treatment but…

Her mum broke down in tears

“…but what ma…

“He can’t walk with one of his legs ”

Phresh heart shattered into pieces as she touched max fingers who was sleeping

“Mama please stop crying,I know there is nothing the Lord can’t dooo,I believe that he will walk…. Phresh said while she start crying

Everyone consoled her while she promised to wait till nightfall

After few minutes,max opened his eyes

“Please excuse me,I want to talk to my love” max requested while they all left.

“How are u doing love?” Phresh asked

“Am sorry for not picking u up in school yesterday” max pleaded

“You don’t need to be sorry all the time,when am not w!cked,I put you into this condition now,please heal up on time,I missed you”

“I will dear,please if you need anything,just tell me,I will go to the end of the world for you to provide your needs”max declared

“How would you provide for my needs? You need to heal up first…

“My personal assistant and my younger brother will take care of my business and we will all be fine,I will walk with time” he said

“But phresh I want you to promise me something”

“What is that?”

“Promise me that you won’t leave me because of my condition”

“You are funny! How would I leave you,it’s not possible,I cant,I promise to stay with you till the end of the world” phresh promised

“Really!

“Yes dear,just rest your mind”

“Thank you bby, anything for me?”max asked

“Kisses for you” phresh replied while she lean closer for a deep kiss

The first kiss they ever shared…
