Bad News

Annette stood in front of the mirror, in a sober mood

Well, she’s been like this for days since she lost her baby

She has to forget all that and forge ahead with life, resume school as soon as possible

She felt a hand on her waist and she turned instantly, it was Fred

“You still worried dear? I’ve told you to keep your mind off the worries”

She sighed, it wasn’t an easy thing to do

“I’m sorry, it’s not easy as you think”

“I know. But you’ve got your studies to worry about now”

She nodded

“Yeah”

“Then focus on that”

Then the phone rang, and she picked it up from the bed

She looked into it, it was Sochima

“Hello”, she picked it up

“Hello sister”

“I’m here, anything?”

“Mom and dad were involved in a fatal accident”, she sniffed, she seemed to be crying

Annette instantly grew worried

“Accident? What happened?”, she asked

“Infact, they couldn’t make it, the accident claimed their lives”

“What!”.
