GRACE

” I’m sorry ” M@ssimo said as he klzzed me softly and at that point , I couldn’t even recognize his voice ..he sound broken and hurt .

” M@ssimo …you’re just hurting the both of us by fighting this ….” I trailed and he rubbed his face .

” I don’t want to feel anything Grace ..I’ve always been numb and I wanna remain that way ….this thing between us would be our doom , you saw what happened with Gina right , for the first time I felt my heart stop beating …..” He said and my heart fluttered softly .

It felt like I had butterflies in my stomach , I knew what I felt for M@ssimo and although we are so different I was willing and ready to embrace it …my fear was the fact that M@ssimo could reject me .

I’d already lost too much after knowing him, my dreams my time and my v!rg!nity loosing my heart to him and not getting his in return…..” I trailed in fear and I felt him hold my hand .

” I care about you grace ,a lot and maybe even more than I should …I’ve never been scared of myself like the way I am lately …” He said and tears rolled out of my eyes.

” M@ssimo….. I” I trailed .

” Don’t … please …don’t do say anything Grace …I don’t want to hurt you …I’m not worth it ” he said and my heart went out to him .

” No one’s worth it M@ssimo , but we need to love because that’s what keeps us going …that’s the most beautiful feeling in the world …. and it completes us ” I said and he shook his head .

” You don’t understand Grace …I don’t even know how …’ he trailed .

” Let me teach you M@ssimo …just open up to me ….let me In …. please” I said and he just stared at me.

” Grace this is not a movie …it’s reality and trust me …if I have to choose between the mafia honour and what I feel , I’d honour my duty ….that’s the difference between the both of us ” he said and I gave a nod as I s√¢ked on my lower l!p as tears rolled out uncontralably.

I wanted to shout and scream for my voice to be heard but nothing came out , what happened with George couldn’t compare to the pain I was feeling at that instant.

It was as if M@ssimo held my heart in his heart and shred it into a million pieces .

I walked close to the bed and immediately I lay down a painful sob left my l!ps .

” Grace ” I heard him call but I refuse to turn . He climbed up into the bed and as he pulled me into his arms from behind I let the sobs out as I cried .

I let out everything that had been bothering my heart , my shattered dreams and aspirations .

I didn’t even know what fate had in store for me and I was already inlove with my heartless husband .

My stepsister was after my life and it didn’t help that I had no one , absolutely no one …

No shoulder to lean on … I bit my lower l!p and wiped my tears .

I was done , so done waiting for anyone to love me … I’m no Cinderella…

I’m going to make sure Gina wouldn’t meet the same Grace she’d met the other time .

The next morning when I woke up M@ssimo wasn’t pres£nt in the room, I got down from the bed and when I walked towards the terrace he was there staring at the estate .

” Max ” I called and he turned .

” Good morning ” he said and I smiled softly

” Wow you said good morning just like that , I guess you woke up at the right side of the bed ” I teased and he chuckled softly.

” Have anyone told you ,you’re crazy ? He asked and I smiled teasingly.

” A lot , a certain someone said I’m definitely mad ” I teased and he stared at my robe ..I followed his eyes and noticed the ropes undone .

” Remove you’re eyes” i said and he smiled.

” Oh ….you’re my wife Grace ,who else should I be staring at ? I asked and he handed me a bag .

I raised my eyebrows and he gestured towards the bag , I shrugged and opened the bag just to see a phone .

” Seriosely ” I asked happily and he chuckled .

I brought out the phone and scrolled .

” Really ? I asked as I raised the phone .

” What ? He asked feigning innocence.

” You saved your number as Oldie , I thought you hate that name ? I asked and he walked close .

” How wouldn’t I get used to it when you practically call me Oldie Everytime ,there was a time you mo*ned ….Oldie ..” he trailed.

” Hey that’s okay I don’t think I want to talk about our s*x life ” I said and he burst out laughing.

” Seriosely what’s the best topic for couples if not s*x what else should we be talking about ? He asked and I burst into laughter.

” M@ssimo they’re lots of topics like what’s your favorite color ? I asked and he smiled.

“Black ” he said and I frowned .

” How can black be anyone’s favorite color M@ssimo ? No wonder our room was looking like a graveyard the first time I came here ” I said and his jaws literally dropped .

” Grave yard ? …this whole estate was Designed by the best architects in the world and my room. …C’mon Grace …you h@rd your jaws Dropped the first time you woke up in my room ” he said and I burst into laughter.

” Seriosely max ? That’s so not true … hahahaha trust me I was not in awe for how your room looked trust me ….” I said and he laughed.

” Let’s go out ” he said and I stared at him like he’s grown horns .

” No ”

” Why ? He asked frowning.

” My life is always in danger anytime I’m with you …” I trailed

” You can’t blame me Bambi, you married a dangerous man ” he said and I burst into laughter.

” Where are you taking me ? I asked curiously.

” Not far .. it’s still in this estate ” he said and I raised my eyebrows.

” Let’s go then ” I said and before I could walk p@ssed him he pulled me back .

” Go and change” he said and I frowned.

” Hey what’s wrong with what I’m wearing ? I asked whining.

” Everything love , you basically left nothing to imagine, I don’t mind if you wear this indoors with me but outside is a big no ” he said and I rolled my eyes.

” M@ssimo c’mon …” I said and he left me .

I swayed my butts at the victory and g@sped as I felt a long jacket on my body .

” Max ! I gr0@ned frustratedly and he laughed.

” You’re mine Grace and you should know by now that I don’t share ” he said as he pat my butts .

” Flirt ” i said and he Carried me in his arms.

” Hey …this is so embarr@ssing …let me go ! ” I said and slapped his back over and over .

” That doesn’t hurt in anyway Grace ” he laughed and I screamed dramatically.

” Woah ” Sergio said immediately he walked out and I blushed red .

” Have fun ” he said as mas walked p@ssed him .

” This is not fair ” I whinned as he got into his car and threw me in ,I laughed as I rushed to come out and he joined me .

Immediately he started driving I tickled him and he looked at me amused .

” You’re so innocent Grace ” he said and I frowned.

‘ I’m not innocent, there’s nothing innocent about me in any way you already popped my cherry remember ? I asked and he laughed.

” That doesn’t mean your mindset is not innocent grace …you’re such a shy Queen ”

I blushed and looked away immediately.

We drove into another part of the estate and I g@sped at the beautiful scenery and the garden.

” Wow ” I said and he just smiled as he drove in .

” Welcome Don .& Donna” and old man welcomed us and handed M@ssimo the keys .

” Tnx Mr Roy ..you can take the weekend off I’m staying here with my wife “He said and the man looked shocked before he bowed and left .

Compared to the De LUCA mansion where we lived ,I didn’t know the island had somewhere as cozy as this .

The place had the most friendly and homly vibes .

” Who owns this place? I asked curiously as the maids walked out and started vacating the area .

” My grandma Donna emeralda ‘ he said and I g@sped .

” She used to be a simple woman …” He said and I could see the sadness in his eyes.

” I’ve been here only once after she p@ssed on ,she willed this place to me before her death .” He said and I stared at him curiously.

” You guys must have been really close ” I asked camly

” We were …she really understood me Bambi ,even my unsaid words ” he said and I smiled.

” That must have really been sweet ” I said and he chuckled softly.

” C’mon let me show you around ” he said and led me with him .

” Wait did you bring me here to …” I trailed and he turned .

” To what ? He asked teasingly.

” You’re such a had boy M@ssimo , are you planning to shift my womb from it’s location ” I asked gesturing towards his D*ck and he burst out laughing immediately .

” Damage your what ? Just kill me grace hahahaha ” he laughed h@rd .

” I need to take my bath Mr trickster ,I can’t believe you tricked me into coming here with you ….” I said and he smirked s£×ily.

” You wanna bath right let’s go together ” he said and I rolled my eyes.

” No ” I said and he tried to catch me ,I ran to the other end of the sitting room and he went after me …

I burst out laughing immediately he caught me and we both fell on the couch .

” I need to bath ” I said and he let me go , I looked at him in suprise that he was letting me go .

I tried to live and he chased after me …

” Hahahaha ” I laughed crazily as he went after me ,I ran and noticed the pool close to another room .

” I’m not chasing you ” he said raising both hands in surrender , my eyes trailed from his fitted dress shirt to his ripped geans p@nt, his belt was undone and low ..

” I don’t believe you …” I said and gestured at his back …I turned and he caught me as we both laughed.

” That’s cheating hahahaha ” I laughed as he pulled me into his arms ..” We both lost balance and fell straight into the pool .

” I’ve not started cheating…” He said and slammed his l!ps on mine .

I chuckled softly as I s£nt my hands around his neck klzzing him with equal hunger .
