The lady was the supposed new wife of ben that the grey headed woman had promised him.

The unceasing heavy blows that hit nancy made her fell to the ground.

She couldn’t save herself from the blows neither could she fight back as she was a weakling vessel.

Blood gushed out of her forehead and it spilled on the floor.

Her face was swollen from the unnerving blows that hit her.

The vicious grey headed woman immediately stopped as she realized what she’d done.
But her accomplice never stopped as she was outrage and ravished with the lies the old woman had fed her with.

Saying, ‘nancy was a murderer, that she caught her almost stabbing ben when she visited them, just because ben was accusing her of beign barren.’ And she needed her to make ben feel like a man, which means they would start living as couples, so she would conceive for ben.

the shameless mother in-law later convinced the lady to stop, after much persuasions.

As they saw nancy motionless on the floor.

They quickly made to leave but immediately stopped when they saw ben coming in.

Ben walked majestically humming to an imaginary song as his heart was full of joy, due to the heart to heart talk he had with his friend and his hope was renewed.

But he never knew what awaited him.

He suddenly stopped in his tracks when he saw his mother and a young lady at his door step.

His mother smiled when their gaze met but ben never trust the mischevious smile.
He became suspicious and proceeded in, while his mother and the lady hurriedly left him.

Ben entered but couldn’t behold the sight.
He was surprised as his mouth flew opened.
Nancy sprawled on the floor, blood gushing out of her forehead with a swollen face and was completely motionless.

He was tremenduously infuriated and fumed with rage.

He was sure solicitious of the fact that it was the handywork of his mother.

He tightened his fist and gritted his teeth in annoyance.

He raced out with immediate alacrity looking for his mother.

He glanced right and left but couldn’t find them.

He was about giving up when he caught a glimpse of them faraway.
He contemplated on what to do.
Should he go after them?
