The prince having seen through Clara knew she can’t make a better queen, as much as he hate to admit his late father married a wrong wife( who happens to be his mother) if he won’t be lying to himself he knows his mother his heartless and treat the poor with so much crusty and harshness. He got up and smiled at Clara.

PRINCE BOB
It was fun having you around Clara, its time for me to go to bed…..my guard will show you out.

CLARA
( Her face full with surprise) show me out? I thought I’m going to spend a night in your room so we could know each other better?

PRINCE BOB
Its not in my principle to be spending a night together with someone who isn’t my bride, beside there’s nothing more to know about you.

CLARA
I don’t understand bob, you don’t like me? I’m rich, my father is a senator who wouldn’t want me?

PRINCE BOB
I haven’t said I don’t want you but at lest I’m grateful to know you smart enough to know you ain’t wanted( his smile never left his face for once)

CLARA
(She scoff) bob not marrying me will be your lose and your greatest mistake, do you know how many suitors I turn down because I wanted to wait for you, because I thought you sensible enough to know my worth.

Prince bob tried to hold back the laughter but couldn’t, how can one person be this silly, as beautiful as she looks it’s really “beauty without brains”

CLARA
And what’s so funny ( her eyes getting wet)

PRINCE BOB
All those guys that came as a suitor are just there because you rich, and the once you thought are rich on their own….just want in conjunction not marriage…. Look I’m sorry for laughing at you, you beautiful, and smart but your characters are lacking, if you can just add a little effort to your characters than to your fashion in a day you won’t be able to stand the men that would come running after you.

The tears fell from her eyes, his words didn’t get to her at all, she’s just hurt because she wasted all those years waiting for a handsome dude who turns out to be a fool.

Her tears weak his heart, he hate to make people cry, he return back to his sit and held her hands.

PRINCE BOB
I’m sorry if my words hurt you, I’m a blunt person….deep down I already know I can’t marry you what will be the point sleeping with you or fooling you for a long time?

CLARA
( She released her hands from him and got up angrily) you will regret it you fool, my father must hear of this. ( she hiss and walked out)
She ran downstairs, luckily the queen was there relaxing with a bottle of red wine and groundnut. Clara ran and passed her without saying a word to her, the queen was so surprised h
She got up quickly and ran after her but Clara wouldn’t stop she got into her car and drove away leaving her guards behind due to anger.

QUEEN
What happened in there, what did bob do to this girl huh? (She asked herself before she return back in side)
She went to bob’s room in anger, and entered without knocking.

QUEEN
What happened bob, why did Clara left like that? What did you say to that poor girl

PRINCE BOB
Mum I just told her she can’t sleep in my room, and she took it the wrong way by saying I would be a fool if I reject someone like her.

QUEEN
Why would you tell her not to sleep in your room? She’s your guest and your fiancé.

PRINCE BOB
Point of correction mum, she’s your guest and ( he chuckles) fiancé what? Look mum I can’t marry that girl she can’t rule with me on the throne, she lacks home bringing.

QUEEN
But son love they said settled everything, you can change her.

PRINCE BOB
I can’t change her mum( he yell then reduced his voice) I can’t be ruling my subjects and be teaching an uncultured queen how to rule beside me.

QUEEN
Think of what her father can do for this community if you marry his daughter.

PRINCE BOB
Mum please I’m tired of this conversation, I’m feeling sleepy mum.

She stare at him angrily before she left.
He jumped on his bed and la!d still thinking of what he has just done ” its the first time I ever yelled at my mum, bob what’s wrong with you” he scolded himself.

He picked his phone and called his friend Mickey, they talked for a while before he slept off.
