Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 18

I guess he didnt see my dog jumping over my head as i docked for him to passover me. He charged forcefully at him that the man fell on his back and before he could make out the situation , sparrow’s teeth disabled his main vein in the neck sending him into a deep sleep.

Slowly, i crawled out of the house to make sure sparrow did it. I checked his pulse and its very slow . I rubbed my dogs head telling him he did a good job. I was about dragging the man away when a voice sounded behind me.

“Are you okay steve?”

Tony called from behind

WTF! where the hell was he when all this was happening, okay on the roof right?…but why is he coming immediately i snapped the pizza boy Gbam!…And so, I began to have wild thoughts.

“Yes…i’m good”

I replied without taking my eyes off him.

“We need to save Kate now!..i mean now”

“calm down son…you aint prepared”

“So lets prepare”

I turned into the house to get somethings and i heard him say something like “Thats if shes not dead”

I paused without looking back, brought out my mobile to check if Kate’s signal was still on and thankfully, it was. No time to waste now.

Tony and i got some guns, I really didnt want much fuss so i got a silencer and after few minute, we headed out of the house.

Tony gave me few hints and some helpful techniques also, i did a short command session with sparrow to get him prepared.

After all was set, i moved over to the garage to bring out the car when Tony stopped me.

“What are you doing son?”

A funny question i thought…

“its obvious tony, we’ll need a car to make it on time”

“I believe this car has been bugged so they will know we are coming… Remeber he said it earlier?”

Very thoughtful of Tony i still had a little doubt tho.

“We need another car steve”

And as he said that, he gave me a long, funny, questioning look that almost scared me but the word “car” kept ringing in my head on purpose.

He reached for my head and knocked it so hard that i thought there would be hole but i wasnt angry at that, rather, i began to have a feeling there was something to the car issue.

“I said we need another…”

“Wait!” i raised up my hand .

Suddenly, like someone whoose memory was just rammed…

“Steve are you crazy?…WHERE IS THE AGERA???

he shouted so loud that we both began to laugh like hyenas.

Right, ya’ll would remember tony ordered an agera 3 or 4 weeks ago, actually it was delivered to my house but i had it kept in the basement all this while that i forgot about it.

Tony couldnt believe i kept the car all the while.

“You should applaud me noe Tony, they didnt know there was a second car coz if they did, they would have bugged it.”

I explained to him as we walked down into the basement to uncover a very bad-ass car.

I removed the cover cloth on it to reveal a wine- red coloured sporting agera glistening like a water fish.

Quickly i got the keys and i inserted it into the key hole and my Good lord… It gave out a sound that made me feel we were set for the mission..

I drove out into the compound where sparrow was waiting already and as he hopped in, Tony unlocked the gate and mehn, the agera nosed forward.

I turned into the road gently as i was never used to the handling of the car. We were about joining the main road when i spotted the black jeep waiting already behind some cars.

Meanwhile, four people sat in the black jeep awaiting the old rugged blue beetle car. They’ve been at the spot for over30 mins now but there was nothing also no message from their man -the fake pizza. They were about going into the house when an Agera sport zoomed past them.

I recognised the car at once.

“Stop the car steve”

Tony ordered and i pulled over.

“obviously, these guys are waiting for you and you’re right, they never knew there was another a car”

“Yeah…so what do we do?”

“We wait”

“we wait for them to take action”

“but we dont know their action”

“so we imagine it!”

No doubt Tony was far experienced than i am, so i gave in.

“This it son, they would pull out of the road side park and go towards your house to confirm if its you in the Agera or you’re still in the house and immediately they find their man dead, they wont venture futher into the house anymore rather they will come back for us exactly after five minutes”

You know, the more he enlightened me , the more i began to doubt me – why would he know so much about them?.

As if its all been planned, they moved out and began driving towards my house and in almost 5 mins later, they were racing towards us where we parked.

Tony looked at me and gave me that “you-see” look.

“How good are you behind the wheels son?”

“Let me show you tony!”

“well, lets show these bastards some real shit”

I hooked on my belts, gripped my wheels and with a free hand i grab the gear all in a rhythmic action as i hit the gas and mehn…i love the Agera!….
