Being a police is hard work, I’ve been busting my ass trying to figure out this drug chain that has been going on in the city, though the drug dealers are doing a god job hiding out of sight and this mysterious island is still a mystery.

Kevin Curiosity! I heard some movements in the place so I decided to check it out.

They left the room and closed the door, I regretted why I came here, Minutes I was in bed enjoying Omotola’s warmth but now I’m trapped here and they planning to kill me, I have to find a way to escape even if it means jumping out of the boat.

Hours later, the goons opened the door and cut me loose, they dragged me outside the boat, the sun was yet to set cause it was still dawn and true to be, there was the island ahead of us, and we were getting close, once we land on that shore, I’m dead, and I’ll never see my babe and or my unborn child.

I wished I had my phone with me, I would have called for backup, I looked around for a way to escape when I saw a GPS phone on Marcus’s waist, the phone was secure in its on purse, on his waist, This is my only way to call the police and get out of this place, I looked at the men as saw not all of them had gun, some had knifes and if I jumped in the water, I could escape with the phone but it would get wet, so I thought of another plan.

As we reached the shore, Marcus came down first before we all came down, as I reached the shore, I pretended to fall, as I went down, I fetched some sands in my hands and stood up, Behind Marcus was a thick forest and it was dark the sun hasn’t risen yet, I looked around and saw they weren’t paying attention to me, that was then I made my move, I used the back of head and smashed it on the guy that was holding me, before anyone could react, I saw the sand on their faces blinding them, temporarily, After that, I dashed towards Marcus and tackled him hard, we both fell on the sand, I quickly removed the phone, and dashed straight into the woods, they fired gunshots at me but luckily for me, they couldn’t see where I saw and they were wasting their bullets.

I ran as quick as I could, I didn’t know how long I was running but I was definitely not going to stop until I reach a safe distance, As I was blindly running deep into the woods, I tripped and fell on the ground hard but not before I realised an axe land on a tree close before me, and if I hadn’t fall, my head would have been cut off..

I turned around to see who threw the axe and to my utmost surprise, I saw the person I never expected to see ever again.
